Short of buying an expensive water softener (we have a sink filter), any suggestions on how to remove these stains? I've tried scrubbing with a nail brush, soaking in soapy water, peroxide and other stuff....is there something I can buy at the drug store?I have nice nails, but the underside is discolored due to our hard water?
Such discoloration of nails can happen for many different reasons that may require different treatment modalities.
You should see a dermatologist for that because nail is an appendage of skin and they are specialized to treat that.
