Ladies, why do you like to grow your nails?

I know not all girls do, but this question is for the ladies who do like to grow their nails.





This may seem like a question with an obvious answer to some, or it may seem like one of those questions with no real answer, but I'm just curious. I'm looking for an in depth answer beyond just that ';they look good.'; I'm assuming that there is such an in depth answer being that many girls care so much about their nails.Ladies, why do you like to grow your nails?
Well they do look better in my opinion, and it's also something that we're meant to think is feminine, so it makes girls feel pretty.


Also I can make people bleed if I try hard enough, I think that's pretty cool.Ladies, why do you like to grow your nails?
well im just to lazy to cut them actually


but most girls really do just grow then out because it ';looks nice';


then sometimes they come in handy (haha handy pun) like if you want to scratch someone/something, one time i used them to cut wrapping paper when we were covering my friends locker, just stuff like that

I don't like to grow my nails, but my nails grow quickly. If I, say, don't cut them for a week, they get kind of long. And they're really strong too, so cutting them uses a lot of energy :) Oh, and short feels weird to me. Not sure why.


And, fyi, most girls don't grow them, they just stick fake ones on top of their real ones. THAT is creepy to me.
Well, first off I like to pretend they are fake nails, and I like the little clicking noises they make, and out of boredom. Plus they are super good at scratching people and good self defense plus idk I just like them like that. Hope it helped.
I grow them out because i cant stand them short. I hate having short nails, but all my friends chew their nails to a stub and i grow them long. They hate my nails and i hate theirs.
Sometimes its how they make a girl feel. It makes you feel danty or ladylike and gives you something else to pamper yourself with.
