If you want them to look really good, you are doing to have to either do a pedicure every month yourself, or get a simple pedicure every month. Unfortunately, for nails to look really nice you're going to have to keep up on caring for them. Maybe even use a scrub or foot masque every week to keep them nice.

umm you can use a nail file, and file your toenails to be very straight and pretty. but if you look at girls that dont have nail polish on, you can put a clear coat on, and your nails look really shiny. but it looks like they are just like that, because there isnt really a COLOR on your feet, right??? haha
buffer bricks... you can get them where they sale the nail supplies =) they get rid of all the ridges on your nails and they feel smooth and leave nice coat shining finish as if you put a clear nail polish
without nailpolish, okay so just like fix it up. take out all the dirst from them, cut them to a good size and sand it. thats all and then put some cream on it.
get a buffer and keep your hands and cuticles moisturized to prevent hang nails.
