i've heard that it is due to a calcium defficiency but i eat a lot of dairy products and drink a lot of milk and orange juice. i was wondering if any one knew what caused them and if there is any way to get rid of them?What are the white spots on your nails caused from?

Yep, I have also heard it was from a calcium deficiency. Try some calcium supplements.
I've heard that too.... Not positive but I notice that I get them after I hit my fingers on things some big some small.
Haha! Those are only ';nail bruises'; If you bump your nail those white things are only bruises. Hope that helps
